Have any of you entered the Bobcat constest shown here at TP? Makes me think of some of you, great at writing what you want to do and how you will do it. Just might be doing it with a Bobcat!

I think everytime I have signed on to TP it is there big as can be in the center of the page. Has a tractor in a field and it will come up win a tractor.

It could be the way I sign on compare to others. I sign onto the home page normally. Seriously for those who have a real project and can tell it seems like a good idea as it is based upon need or project and not just a drawing. ....

They do have the offer of free FEL or low interest but it did finally come back up for me. But found it on their web site also. Has previous winners there and their story that won. DID NOT READ any.

So it must be real...Hey you guys in the snow country....a white tractor moving snow would look good!

Kenny. Kenny. Kenny.

It always tickles me when "furiners" (foreigners) from da souut' think that if you have something white and use it in winter you basically disappear from sight. That's like saying fire engines disappear when near a fire!

All my trucks are white by the way. Eaiser to keep clean or rather not show dirt. ....

Hey OLD Jeffery...read my comments ".Hey you guys in the snow country....a white tractor moving snow would look good!"

I know white does not disappear in the snow...just like green does not disappear driving down a good tree covered "Southern" road. Just much harder to see than contrasting color.

How about the man who told his son to put on dark clothes and stand in the middle of the road? Said he was tired of his aggravation. No idea how old the son was at the time but he is now late 50's. ....

Kenny: DOH my bad. Should have read it better.

Bobcat doesn't enjoy a good reputation in these parts. Fuy I know who went to Bobcat for a bargain price aren't happy. Generally they're seen as weak, low powered and unreliable and expensive to repair (I'm speaking of construction equipment). Caterpillar is competitively priced but is weaker than a New Holland. Check out on youtube "skid steer smackdown"---there are five parts I think. The shows are amazing from one brand to the other. Curiously in the lifting challenge New Holland was not invited. ....

Jeff can not address much of what you said about the different brands but here for a good while Bobcat was the only mini excavator or at least 80% but not near that as many more Kubotas and Cat. As the Cat is the standard yellow as is the Kolbeco and JD how much of those two brands there are but some. The Bobcat dealership is on side of major highway and was very visible then the raised the road and now they are almost hidden to the point not even sure if they handle the tractors. The last time I paid any attention they did not have the stock of excavators as either Cat or Kubota. ....
