Well, it finally happened. After 47 years the old girl needs a part or two but since she was grandpa's and dad's I don't have any literature on her.
Went to bush hog for the first time this year and the hitch lifting arms have no force. One ram has a leak and I noticed an awful lot of foamy oil dripping out. Not sure what the problem is but am thinking it's the pump. Also thinking the pump is probably buried and the tractor may need to be split.
Has not been a good spring equipment wise. My Lawn Boy trimming mower bit the dust after only thirty two years! Yesterday my other trimmer, an Ariens walk behind, dumped a differential and drive disk at only a decade old. They just don't build them like they used to.
Contemplating the $150 for parts for the Ariens or a purchasing a new trimmer. They all look like such junk it is difficult to decide.
If anyone has knowledge relative to the old Allis, I would appreciate ideas.

Cutter, I would think it's similar to my old Fordson 2N. It was easy to get to--directly under the seat. There was a big cover under the seat that housed the pump and the 3-point cylinder and levers all in one casting. I had mine changed out in about 3-4 hours. ....

Not sure what to think since the tractor is always stored inside and never run in the rain. Looked more like the froth you would see when oil is whipped up a bit because it is not milky colored on the dipstick. I'm going to drain the tractor and replace the oil, it could be the fact that I added a little detergent oil after running out of mineral oil last summer. She loses about a quart out that leaky ram after several hours of use so it sort of changes itself. The lift cylinder is so old I don't dare disassemble it for lack of replacement parts. ....

Fear not, all the parts you will need are readily available.
We did one of ours a couple of years back.
Best of luck. ....

Did not find any reference to the cylinders when searching, perhaps if they are readily available it is a common kit used for other brands? ....

Not my spring it seems.
Started mowing the fields today, tractor running fine. Stopped to help boss unload groceries and the tractor wouldn't start, dead battery. Tried to jump it, no luck. I always watch the gauges and recall it was charging fine, not to mention that the battery was strong upon initial start.
Checked the voltage, 10V. Grabbed a spare, threw it in and she fired right up....then died, starved for fuel. Cleaned fuel bowl and tried again, no luck. Cleaned jets and now she is fine. Been having that trouble since E10, can't wait for the E-15.
