Hi,
We own a Christmas tree farm. We need to do some mowing, grading of trails, snow removal, stump grubbing or removal, loader work, possibly some backhoe work. I have been quoted a price of $18,356 for a 1533 w/ gear transmission; $19,833 for a synchro trans / front end loader.
There is also a 1428V USED for $13,900, hydro, new loader, with 766 hrs on it.
What is the life expectancy of these things- assuming you do regular maintenance and don't beat them too badly?
Am I better off to buy used?
What is the first thing to go? My memory is already gone!
A new 1532 has financing at 0% for 60 months with no penalty for paying off early.
Any thoughts!
Thanks!

Are you are talking about mowing between the rows of trees, or just open fields? Big difference.
What size stumps are you talking about, already harvested trees? If so, a much bigger machine will do a faster job, my full size TLB with a 4-in-1 front bucket will pull an 8" stump out of the ground faster than you could get a small backhoe lined up to even begin digging it out.
More details required.
Best of luck. ....

we interplant- so we need to get between rows that vary between 6' - 7' and I suppose there are spots where it is 5' between. I think I need to go narrow. ....
