B2910

1) Mis-aligned weld on loader frame causing difficulty installing/removing loader retaining pin.

2) Fuel gauge reads full all the time.

1) Repaired immediately by dealer with new frame.

2) Will be repaired by dealer as soon as I am done mowing for the year and will be covered under warranty.

I believe both problems will have been resolved to my satisfaction by the end of the year.

Dealer has been great.

Yes I would buy this brand again. ....

Both resolved to my satisfaction.

Make/model: Yanmar YM 1700

Purchased: Southern farm equipment

Problems: No majior problems

Dealer sastifaction: YES!

Would I buy this tractor again? You better beleive it brother!

Comments: This is by far the best 20 h.p. diesel tractor for any price. It's small for tight areas, but acts like a big boy on big jobs. (I bush hogged 5' tall wiregrass on a 9 acre food plot in 3 hrs!) Parts are available due to the fact Yanmar produces engines for marine generators as well as drive motors for boats. Living on the gulf coast, allows access to majior engine parts. Many dealers are stocking parts for these little guys. If the whole tractor goes up in flames, I'm only out 2k!
I'm looking at buying another, this one will be 20+ h.p. and 4wd!

New Holland TC30 (9x3 gear trans)/7308 loader/r4 tires.

I now have 35 hours on machine (in eight weeks) and it has performed flawlessly.

I am not sure if it is the Dealer that is excellent or rather the salesman (I guess the Dealer should get credit for hiring an excellent salesman). The Dealer did not have the cutting edge for my loader in stock at time of purchase but delivered it to me within two weeks at no cost to me as promissed. The salesman also gave me(free of charge) a real nice tool box made of heavy gauge metal to attach to the tractor at a location of my choice (all I did was mention that it would be nice if the TC30 had a place for tool and accy. storage like my old JD50).

I would buy this exact setup again.

I probably would have been satisfied had I purchased a tractor from any of the major manufacturers but I know that I could not have been any happier than I am now. A great tractor at a great price, flawless performance, abundant power, and very pleasant people at the New Holland Dealership. ....

I have a NH TC45 4WD 12X12 Synchro Shuttle Transmission and R4 tires

I have about 30 hours on the tractor...no problems.

Implements...758C Backhoe, Landpride 1584 blade, 16LA loader with quick attach plate, pallet forks, 72" bucket, Fred Cain sub-soiler

I would buy this tractor again. I bought from Western Tractor in Albuquerque. There are only two or three NH dealers in the entire state.

My wife showed me a Kubota ad when I was looking at Bobcats. I decided the compact tractor thing made sense. I grew up on a farm with Deere equipment, but could not come to terms with the local JD dealer. With NH I got a lot more tractor for less money and did not have to put up with the "take it or leave it attitude."

I started with smaller tractors, but got up to the larger frame tractors to handle large FEL loads. I build things out of metal. ....

TC 33 hst w/ FEL and 60"MMM

Only problem so far was that MMM was mounted when deliverd and they did not keep the Mid PTO cover. I called and asked for one, As I just wanted to keep dirt out of the grooves when running in the muddy pasture. Dealer said No prob and There was a new cover on my door step 2 days later, No charge. ( Sometimes it is just the little things that make me happy )
Dealer Satisfaction: Very satisfied..

Kioti LK 3054-FEL-rear 6ft finish mower. I had leaking hydraulic fittings, steerig wheel on wrong, and numerous other pain in the butt stuff that the dealer did nothing about until I contacted Kioti USA. The hydraulic control valve just fell apart at like 35hrs. The fuel gage still reads full all the time and after 110hrs on this tractor I would not buy another. The dealer didn't help much so I'd say I'm not satisfied with the service. The guys on this board have been more help than the dealer. ....

bluetay,
Who is your dealer?
I have 415 hours on my Kioti DK 35, work it hard, with ZERO problems.
Extreamly happy with the tractor and the dealer.
I have used this tractor to clear my 15 acres of badly overgrown field to build a new house.
Tilled and leveled 6 acres for lawn, backfilled around the new house, dug and backfilled 880' of water line, dug and backfilled 600' electric line, buried 600' phone line, dug out 600'+ driveway and turn around area, spread 100+ ton of stone on drive, dug and backfilled over 500' drainage ditch, drilled post holes for fence, mows my 6 acre lawn, brush mows my 9 acre field, tills my garden, Etc. Etc.
Very happy with this tractor, its power, its fit and finish and its reliability.
I would definately buy another. ....

DK35Vince: I don,t want to name the dealer because I still have warranty and I'm sure you understand. However I'll say this because McHenrys' (dairy) had a LK3054 with 3500+hrs on it when they traded it and no problems. I thought this was a can't miss rig but I'll live with it until I find a suitable replacement. The other thing that bugs me is that I looked for six months before I bought this tractor. Also that 9 months after I bought it the dealer offered me less than half what I paid for it on a DK35. ....

Similar to WPHill - 3130 HST LA513, SQ600 bushhog, just much fewer hours - less than 40 so far.

Problems or defects: There was a small 'gouge' in the back of the seat when the tractor was delivered. I wasn't here and my wife didn't notice it.

Were they resolved: Yes - the dealer came out with a new seat!

Dealer satisfaction: Outstanding.

As so many have already said, I don't know how I got along without this thing for so long. I find new uses for it every time I fire it up. Amazing power, maneuverability, etc. Great fun too!

2004 JD 110 tlb, back in the shop again. Second machine, 15 hrs on the first,it went back, 235 hrs on this one. Many electrical breakdowns, now worn out parts you would see at 2000hrs.And yes it was very well maintained. Very nice machine to run, agile, balanced, power, does more work then you would ever expect. I have visited three JD dealers, the nearest in my area. None know anything about the machine, they are rude unless they are selling, service managers know less. It is sad when one time sales and the profit margin this year is all that counts as their mother company John Deere, share holder value, investor relations, quartly reports, earnings per share, toys, shirts, trinkits. Never buy another Deere because of it. JCB, Volvo, New Holland, as soon as I can get out of this one.Too bad, a good dealer and I would really love the machine. Time is money and I don't have the time to lose this kind of money. Another week without a machine and 150 miles of towing to and from the dealers. ....

Installed the correct size fuse. Wasn't ever really a problem.
Dealer: Best deal I found anywhere and His name says it all:
"Deals On Wheels, Pensacola, Florida (Importer)"
90hrs with 5ft box blade, engine purrs like kitten, If this tractor was a woman, we'd get married. :-)

Hey Guys, I've just built a new house and my old 9N is worn out. I'd like to buy a new "compact tractor." I've looked at John Deer, Kubota, and New Holand, plus a few others. In your opinion....who builds the BEST compact tractor? I've read articles about the JD 4010 & the JD 790. Are these the best, or are you just paying for the John Deer name? How bout the compact New Holands / fords?
I would appreciate any & all input, so everybody give me your .02 cents worth!

Thanks,
stang ....

Stang2tuff; I'm sure if you went back far enough on this thread you'd find one of my sermons on dealers. All three, Blue, Orange and Green have good tractors, but more important than the color is a good dealership to take care of any problems that can arise later with any brand. Try to stay local, long distance service work can be a pain. There are lots of good dealers and a few stinkers too, spend a little time finding your choice in dealers and you'll like what ever color they sell. Just another tip, an old friend of mine used to have a saying, "The cheapest ain't allways the cheapest". Good luck. Frank. ....

I bought my compact tractor about three and a half months ago, and had much the same question in my mind since I knew nothing about tractors. I just went to four different dealers nearby (and not so nearby) to get some hands-on time with different models. I looked at New Holland, Kubota and John Deere. I had a good feeling right away from the nearby John Deere dealer, and really liked the 4310. However, the larger (but further-away) Kubota dealer had a better price by a $1000 for a comparable model with similar implements. When I telephoned the JD dealer and told him this fact, he dropped his price by twelve hundred. I signed the papers later that day and have never regretted it.

Drive them and get a feel for their differences to see what feels right to you, and definitely go with the dealer that feels right. Good Luck! ....

Opening a dealership in Plainfield In?
Question is... What brand should I sell? I am new to the board and I'm not even sure if I am posting this in the right area? For the past 3 months I have been reading all the comments about tractors. I am going to open a dealership here but, before reading your comments had no idea which brand to open with? .Excluding JD/IH/& Kubota, which tractor is the best? Which is the best for the price? Why buy one brand over another? Which brand stands behind their equiptment and gives the best service. From all the comments I have read I am leaning towards Branson. I have been in this location for over 23 years and plan to be here for another. Point is...I want to be a happy dealer with happy customers giving great service!!! In order to do this it would help to have a good product that has good people behind it!

Looking forward to your comments Dan ....

From a customer perspective I'd guess either Branson or Kioti would be respectable brands to carry. Personally, I'd tend to avoid the less expensive Chinese brands. They seem to be less reliable and you'd want customers to feel good about the product and your dealership. Hard to make that happen if the machine has downtime and requires work to get the kinks out. ....

I second Kioti. They make a great tractor for the dollar spent. My personal likings are John Deere, Kubota, and Kioti. In that order. Perhaps an exception when it comes to full size farm tractors and I think Kioti is tough to beat with their DK55 & DK65S. Rumor is that Kioti may come out with a DK85 in the near future. Kioti's don't carry the resale value that a Deere or Kubota does but I think that may change as more folks buy and learn about them. ....

I'd have to 3rd Kioti, mainly because I have had such a positive experiance with mine.I have had my Kioti DK 35 for just over 3 1/2 years now. Around 645 hours and I absolutely love it. Its been a good, strong, problem free tractor with excellent fit/finish/features and the price was right.

Brand & Model: CASE DZ25E w/FEL, 60"MMM, 60" rear blade, 3-pt tilt bucket & extra lighting. 60 hrs of mowing, heavy lifting and snow removal...all of it fun!

Problems or defects: Few small hydraulic leaks.

Were they resolved to your satisfaction: Yes.

Dealer satisfaction: Dealer showed up at my home with his mobile repair truck on the same day.

Would you buy this tractor again: Yes!

Comments: Lots of torque from the engine, it never strains at 3100 RPM. No problems starting in the winter, never used the block heater, and I run all synthetics. Good looking tractor too!

Brand/model - Kabota MX5000 LA852 loader
Problems - NONE
I bought this from a dealer in another state so I don't use the dealer I bought it from. They delivered it when they said they would and spent a lot of time showing me everything about it.

This is one heck of a machine! Even my wife is thrilled with it. So yea I would buy another one in a heartbeat.
