Im new here just picked up shibaura for 250$ it has locked up motor .I am trying to Identify it and find out wich ford it is like. its hood says s1500/ on thetag it says s15d 11494 lem754-11494 28ps. any help would be appreciated

The S1500 is not real close to any Ford. When it was made the Fords only had 2 cylinder engines, The LEM754 was used in later models, but it is a differnet engine. The parts are not interchangeable. ....

LEM754 75 is the bore. 4 is # of cylinders. It is an old model.Probably being brought in by the vietnamese. It is so old that most dealers wouldn't import them because of scarce parts. I can supply a parts book. ....
