I've been reading the posts on three point hitches hopeing to find a match for my problem.I don't have trouble liftin my hitch,I can't get it to go down unless it sets over night or I have an attachment on it.I changed all fluids and filters, and the front end loader works fine.Does anyone have any suggestions?

Many tractors have a valve you can set so the lift will not lower or lowers slowly. It is normally a round knob and within easy reach from the seat. Mine are between my legs while seated. It may take only a part turn to make difference in the lowering speed. ....

kthomson you were right on the money.there was a small lever on the right hand side that slowed it down or sped it ud or stopped it totally.now a new problem,I put a slip clutch on my power take off shaft so my brushhog wouldn,t pull me over the hill but I busted that one on an old stump so I bought another one,put it on,raised the brushhog up and broke my pto shaft. Now I need to find out how to remove the broken piece from the rear of the tractor. anybpdy had this problem before? ....

My Shibaura is having the same issue. I have the knob between my legs with a symbol of a rabbit and a tortoise to indicate the speed in which the implement rises and lowers. I have it set all the way to the fastest position and my brush hog is stuck in the up position. The other day, I drove around for about 15 minutes and kept working the lever as well as my bucket, until It finally dropped down. I need to get my field mowed and nothing is budging this upper arms. I thought my hydraulic tank might be low, so I filled it, but fluid begain flowing out of the dipstick hole. I'm about ready to sell this little turbo. ....
