Hello, My father recently bought a used Shibaura Tractor and I am looking for information about it, including a shop manual and owners manual. I don't know too much about it at this time, but can supply any information you need in order to determine what model it is. Here's what I know: 2 cylinder, Diesel engine, with 4 wheel drive. Says "STIGER" on the front of the tractor. Please let me know if you need any more information, and I'll see what I can come up with. Try contacting your local Case IH dealer. They bought Steiger in the mid 80's. Maybe they can help you and your dad. Good luck.

Stiger does not equal Steiger. We are a Case /IH dealer and also deal in grey market tractors. We have asked and there is no known relationship between Case and Shibaura. No one we've talked to even in Japan knows what the Stiger means on the Shibaura tractors. By the way Shibaura builds compacts for New Holland. Yesterday was the first day of business for the merged companies of Case and New Holland. The company is now offically known as Case New Holland or CNH. ....
