I'm looking at buying a pretty nice looking MT372 but have a couple of questions. Are these reliable tractors and in reading the posts here I stumbled across something. The PTO runs counterclockwise? Is this normal for all Mitsubishi tractors? This is a new for me. I haven't actually seen the tractor, just a picture and I'm not even sure if this one runs clock or counter clockwise. PLEASE ADVISE!

Any input on this model would be greatly appreciated!

TJ

The pto rotation issue would be good to sort out. I know that a few early Japanese compacts did rotate opposite to most others but I don't know which makes and models. Opposite rotation would make buying pto implements difficult. A related issue is whether it has a standard CAT I hitch. ....

In the pictures the hitch looked like CAT 1, but I'll be sure of that as well. All I want is something to eventually pull a finish mower with and do some gardening with. Thanks for the reply ....

The PTO on the MT372 runs clockwise and accepts most standard implements. The hitch was originally cat 1 but I recently ran into a tractor with cat 0 arms. It was an add on after the fact. Apparently the original arms had been lost. For parts and manuals call me at 800-609-5110 satohparts.com (mitsubishitractorparts.com) ....

Bill,
thanks for the information. Haven't decided yet if I want the tractor or not. 15 h.p. isn't much, but I realize the gearing on it will help and for what I'm wanting to use it for it should work fine. I guess my biggest concern is the 2 cyl. engine, and if I can get parts for it or not. At one time I had a Kubota B7200HST and that tractor was a real dream........still disgusts me that I sold it!

Thanks again. ....
