I have a Mitsubishi Tractor model MT160D that I cannot get it to cold start when temp. is much below 30 degrees. The tractor will belch black smoke from the exhaust but will not fire off this is after warming it with the glow plug.
Any suggestion on what needs to be to get it started would be appreciated!

If there's slow cranking, summer-viscosity oil, or not using the decompression (if it has it), that could explain the non-start. The smoke could be signaling a clogged air intake, or a fuel problem at the engine. And you could try adding some fuel conditioner. ....
