Recently replaced the rear wheel seals on my Mitsubishi 2650FD. What lubricant should be used to refill the resevoirs? I would assume 85w gear oil but the fluid that came out appeared thicker?

Unless that tractor is substantially different from others, the bearings run in the same stuff the transmission and differential run in.

Generically known as (and usually called) "TDH" Transmission, Differential, Hydraulic fluid.

There should be just one reservoir, the transmission / differential unit itself.

Best of luck. ....
