Iveyjunk; This sounds kind of scary to me. Can you see where a serial # plate has been removerd or stamped numbers ground off? Do you know the party you bought it from or was this an E-bay thing. You could end up paying for your tractor twice or having it seized by the law, It just plain sounds like you bought a stolen tractor to me. Best of luck. Frank. ....

Dont know where to look but I dont see anything anywhere. Got it at an auction. This man that brings them in has 15 to 20 there at a time. They have told me in the past he ships them in. Most have 1000 HO or less. Never leaves a key in them. They tell me if I go to him he would SELL me the key for $50.00 well Ill be nice and not say what he can do with it. All them are mitsubishi, yanmar and so on. He puts loaders on some of them. ....

iveyjunk; I'm not at all fimiliar whith a Mitsuibushi so I can't tell you where a serial # should be, surely someone else on the board can tell you. The key thing sounds a bit strange, never heard of that before. Does the tractor start and operate like a tractor with so few hours? It's not uncommon for equipment to be sold at auction with no history behind it, so the old "Buyer Beware" thing kinda kicks in. Hope things work out. Frank. ....

This tractor was manufactured in the mid to late 80's for sale in Japan. The serial number is normally found stamped into the transmission tunnel. Yours has been "refurbished" which can mean as little as just repainted. Don't trust the hour meter. We can furnish manuals and parts. Bill - mitsubishitractorparts.com, 1-800-609-5110 ....
