My dad is having trouble with his model 360 Long. We can't get the air out of the fuel system. We bleed it and it runs about 20 minutes then quits. The manual show where to bleed but at least one of the points they show is wrong so I wonder if some of the others are wrong as well. I think we are not bleeding it correctly. Does anyone have any experience doing this on a Long? I would like to ask some questions..

What helps is being able to supply some pressure to the fuel system. On a Highway size diesel paver we had a fuel line problem. We found the bleeder valve, then opened the diesel fuel tank cap, then took a backpack leaf blower, and blew air into the tank at a moderate speed until the line ran clear. We were back in business in a couple of minutes.Wearing safety glasses is a good idea when doing this, don't think about mixing a leaf blower with a gasoline engine! ....

Maybe no advise at all,I would look over all your fuel lines, especially the rubber lines. Sometimes cracked lines will not seep fuel, but will suck, or allow air to enter. I know a few guys who had this problem on Dodge Ram Cummins Diesels. The Rubber fuel line ended up being a Recall for that very reason, as well as a safety hazard if the fuel line would eventually rupture, causing a fire. Something worth looking into. ....

Besides Checking the fuel lines for cracks etc. The tank vent might be plugged. Try running it with the fuel cap very loose. The tank has to be vented. Hal ....

Sometimes it helps to bleed a system with a full tank of fuel. I have an old 125C IH trackloader that won't completely bleed unless the tank is full. It is also possible you have a air leak somewhere as others have suggested such as a rubber hose or at the filter. ....

When I got home the other day my dad had already built a "pressure system". He afixed a rubber gasket to a piece of iron pipe cap and drilled/threaded it to accept a valve. He replaced the fuel cap with this and pumped in a few psi. It showed several fuel leaks. After the repair I ran it last night for about a hour. How do these old guys think up these things? ....
