I am considering buying and installing myself a 16LA loader for a TC45D. Somewhat mechanically inclined, but not real familiar with hydraulics. How difficult, and how much time can I expect this to take? Is it worth a few hundred bucks?

I have a TC45 with a 16LA. It does not look terribly difficult to install, but there is work to do on the main hydraulic manifold on the right side. I don't know if the TC45D is more complicated or not

I have most of the installation manuals, and I will check this and get back to you. My best guess is that the mechanical installation would be no problem. But, I don't know if there are any hydraulic system settings that need changing. ....

I had a TC 33D with a loader. I honestly think your best bet is to have a New Holland dealer install it. Did you inquire with the dealer you are purchasing the loader from on an install. Mine installed for $0 ! ....
