Does anyone know what a set of forks would cost for a JD 460 FEL?

Thanks

Billy,

I don't know what new forks cost, but there is a guy up here that gets rejects from a forklift place in Kansas City. They work just fine, the only thing wrong with them is one might be slightly longer than the other, or other minor defects. He builds the exact mount for your loader and the forks are adjustable side to side. They aren't the kind with the big shaft running along the top that allows them to swing up (although he has some of those too). Charges $325 for a set of forks and mount. I like my forks I use them more than the bucket.

Who do you grow for? I drive a feed truck for Cargill turkeys. Have been to Springdale a couple of times, but mostly just stay here within 50 miles of the house.

Rob ....

Nu Way Metal Fab
Eddie Brubacker

I think Eddie told me he makes up a set about every day, so he knows what he is doing. He is Mennonite or Pennsylvania Dutch and everything he has is on steel.

He will have to know the exact dimensions of your loader pins, etc. I took my bucket to him and he measured everything out. Maybe if you tell him what you have he can find a machine locally to measure (may charge a little extra?)

Good Luck
Rob ....

BILLY, THE 460 FEL HAS THE QUICK ATTCH BUCKET? I OWN A SET OF JD FORKS THAT GO IN PLACE OF THE BUCKET, TWO PINS BUCKET OFFF- FORKS ON. THESE FORKS ARE EXTREMELY TOUGH, I DO TREE WORK/ LOGGING AND LIFT 20-30 FT TREES 20+ INCHES IN DIAMETER WITH NO PROBLEMS. I SPENT $800 FOR THE FORKS AND HAVE NO REGRETS. ....
