I am considering transfering my JD #75 loader from my 850 to my 1050. Have seen posings referring to a #80 loader on the 1050 tractor. Can anyone advise as to the difference between the #75 and the #80 loaders. Also, are there other JD loaders which will fit the 1050 tractor? Many Thanks,Bob Hitchcock

I have the literature for my #75 loader (operators manual and parts listing), but so far have found very little on the #80 loader. Would like to compare the specs between the two loaders. Also, trying to determine if there are other loaders which would fit the 1050 tractor.

Many thanks for your reply. I currently have a #75 loader on my 850 and have the manual for it. I have, however, seen reference to a #80 loader on the 1050, and am looking for information as to the #80.

Also, would like to locate the mountings (complete tractor portion) for the #75 so that I could use the loader on either tractor.

Bob ....

Bob, Those JD1050's have always intrigued me, glad you got one. I've never owned one....though I've driven a few. Oddly, I don't recall hearing the turbocharger winding up on any of them, although turbo whine is a common noise on larger tractors. I kind of like the noise if it isn't too loud and am curious if you can hear it on yours. ....

I really dont seem to hear any noise from the turbocharger. When power is reguired, the tractor seems to respond, so I assume the turbo is working. ....
