I had a Woods loader installed on my TC29D with a New Holland valve. I get the same kind of noise you do but it stops after a short while. I think it is normal and that you shouldn't have to worry about it. ....

It might have nothing to do with the loader. My thought is that you should ask your dealer if you should be running a different oil in cold weather. I've heard that synthetics will cure this. BTW, my tractors do it too.

i have a tc18 and have had alot of trouble with may loader as well as my hydro pump, you need to check the manifold below your pump. your steering linkage
hits the manifold as well as the lines and will rip it off,as it has done to me twice,in the last month.you need to check the three small screws that attach
the manifold to the pump. this is a serious design flaw. ....

My TC29 did the same thing until I changed to N/H "semi synthetic" (read multi-vis) oil. Thick oil passing through small orfices makes noise. I would check the steering problem as well, since I am not sure what noise YOU are hearing. Good luck. ....

It's probably an oil viscosity issue if the sound goes away during the warm up. Oil going through small orifices does make a squealing or shrieking sound that is less with thinner oils. Power steering priority valves and pressure relief valves have fairly small passages and make such noises. I'm guessing that Cutter is using NH F200, which is what my dealer recommended over the standard 134D. It gets cold here, and multi-season hydraulic oil helps. When it's really cold, I still use magnetic heaters on the oil sump even though my dealer says not that much heat actually gets through the cases. I still think it helps some. Anyway, you know it's cold when after everything is working nicely following a good warm-up; you're outside for 15 minutes and the loader starts dropping in slow-motion when floated. Get some warm oil in the cylinders and it works normally for about 15 more minutes. And, that's with multi-season oil. ....
