I'm considering buying this tractor and was wondering about general information. ie.
1.) Should I use hydraulic/tranmission fluid in the transmission or is it a separate section. (it looks like hydraulic fluid when I check).
2.) Is shell rotella 30W good for a summer oil??
3.) Any particular grease for the joints?
4.) Any adjustments for the hydraulic pump to boost it a bit??
5.)How hard are the injection pumps/injectors/glow plugs to locate (buy) and replace??
This may not be my last post.
Thanks for any help.

I have the same tractor and you need to buy an owners manual from Allis Chalmbers, their tractor is a 5030. I got mine from my father after his death and I like my little tractor and I use it mainly to cut grass.

Richard, I also had to buy gloss plugs one was bad and they cost $15.00 each for shipping and tax. I brought mine thru the local NADA aut part shore, they brought them in CA and sent them to me. About the transmission oil go to tractor supply and ust the stanard transmission oil they have for all tractors. NOT AUTO TRANS OIL. Drain and change and clean filters. ....

Thanks for the info Clyde. I hate to admit I just read it...I've not had any problems with it since last spring and you know how it goes out of sight (and not broken) out of mind. I think it got asn air bubble in the fuel line the other day and I don't know which screw/slotted bolt on the injector pump is the bleed valve. I will first try cracking open an injector line and bleeding it that way. Anyway, I just ordered a an AC 5030 manual. Thanks again ....
