The main thing is to figure out if the coupling ends are standard. If they are then there's a good chance that a generic shaft from any dealer would connect both the tiller and tractor pto drive. There aren't too many pto drives in use on small tractors. There's a good chance that a generic shaft would work or that an adapter is available. Shafts do come in different lengths but finding an appropriate length shouldn't be a problem.

If I didn't have a manual where the pto drive shaft was speced, I'd probably think of something like making a print of the shaft end on paper and seeing if a dealer could identify it. There may be some variation in the shaft grooves that lock the coupler onto the tractor so I'd probably measure the distance of the grooves from the shaft end as well. PTO shafts have shear pins in them and the grade of a pin on a generic shaft should be appropriate for the tractor's pto drive and tiller. ....

I believe the standard is 1 3/8 inch dia. 6 spline for 540 RPM. 1000 rmp PTO's have a higher number of splines, 21 I think. The other main size is 1 1/8 inch. Adapters can be found for 21 - 6 spline conversion. Some lawn tractors seem to have a 1" shaft, this size is harder to find.
Tractor supply should have the 1 3/8 inch stuff. ....
