...Hope someone here can help. Among other Allis Chalmers I own a 5020. They were made for AC from 78'-85, along with the 5015 and 5030 in Japan. Small parts have not been an issue. HOWEVER, I've run into a wall try'n to obtain a replacement exhaust manifold for this tractor. The tractor was built by Toyosha and has the 2cyl. 77c.u. motor. Agco is no longer stocking some of the bigger parts for the 5015/20/30. The yards I've contacted...no luck. By chance a nearby Used Equipment dealer had a Hinomoto on his lot(E14). A driveby look seems to show the drivrtrain VERY similar to the AC. Are these both from Toyosha?..Which model would be a clone of the 5020?....And last but not least, I've never seen another Hinomoto; where's the best place to call on this part?.......A big thanks for any help provided....Bob T.

Bob, yes Hinomoto built these tractors for AC/MF/DA and others. If the engine is the same, ie 2cyl and displacement then should be able to use manifold. You may want to contact the grey market club on Yahoo or better yet the Hinomoto club for some more help. BTW I own a Hino E2304 which crosses to the Massye 1030.

Good luck, Jerri ....

Hi - another new member with a question.

Does anyone know what brands and models of loaders are available to fit a 26 hp Deutz Allis 4wd which I understand was made by Hinomoto? I'm interested in new or used. ....

Al, can't help much on price, was already mounted when I bought it. I have seen them at dealers in Virginia for $2250.00 as I recall. I have attached the web page for Koyker and you may want to contact them for further info. Others to consider would be Kelly, Bush Hog and not sure who else. I know Kelly has a web page also and list tractors and loader compatability charts.

Have you had your Allis long? How do you like it?

Again, if I can help...just shout.

Jerri,

I am negotiating to buy the Deutz Allis which raises another question. Although it appear to be in good condition it has 3100 hrs. Not knowing the expected life of the machine should I be looking at investing in a loader to put on it or better off finding a lower use tractor w/ loader already installed? Any thoughts? ....

Al, I am no expert on the longevity of these machines, but I have heard 5000 hours batted about as a good rule of thumb to use. Now the 3100 hours this machine has seen may have been hard hours or easy, who knows? In as much as I don't know what they want for the tractor, it is tough to guage. I will say that you should buy this tractor or similar for around $6,000.00 with alot less hours. As an example, I bought my tractor (625 hours) + loader, + new 5' rotary cutter + 5' landscape/box blade + 5' tiller (used) + 16' dual axle trailer for 10K. If as an example the machine looks very good and he is letting it go for 4K I would probably be interested. If on the other hand he wants 6K, I would probably look around some more. Hope this is of some benefit but it may not because tractor prices can vary depending on location, condition, brand name, and etc.......Jerri ....

Jerri,

Thanks your comments have been very helpful. Since this unit has been primarily used for finish mowing it probably qualifies as "light use". I'll see if I can get it in range accordingly.

Contact me at sheaftractor@coiinc.com or 815-284-3226 for Koyker or Kelley loader pricing. I'm giving a 20% discount on loaders & backhoes. I can also price Woods & Allied, but not as good a discount. ....
