I'm looking to put on rear hyd. remote on the back of my 1992 mod 1920 tractor to run a log splitter. I dont need control can i just put on the fitting on the back of the tractor for quick disconect hoses

If it has a loader, tap into the loader's PB line, but the splitter valve should be PB rated. If no loader is present, run lines from the aux ports on a hydraulic manifold block (assuming it has one). That would be a PB application. If the splitter valve isn't PB rated, the return line can run into a port on the cases, but a diverter valve on the block would have to be switched between 3ph and splitter use. There are positive locking quick-connectors that are more secure than regular quick-connectors for use on PB lines. ....
