here is the story. 1950 Ford 8N. Starts, runs good for about 20 minutes, then in order to keep it running, you have to give it more throttle, or choke. That works for a few minutes, but then it dies. Let it cool down, and she's ready to go again for 20 minutes. Needing to add choke makes me think fuel mixture, more throttle is getting me worried that something is tighting up. Anyone with an experience like this? Thanks

My 2N will not run with the gas cap on tightly. And it takes about 20 minutes for enough gas to be used to create a vacuum in the tank. At least enough vacuum so that the gas no longer flows with gravity. If you were having the same problem it could take a few minutes for enough air to leak back into the tank so that the gas will flow. The next time it starts to die, loosen the gas cap and see if that takes care of the problem. Then instead of running around for years with a loose cap like I've done, drill a vent hole or find a vented cap. :)
