I have a 570 Belarus with a 24 volt starting system. The polarity switch recently caught on fire and melted. I bought and installed a new switch and now when I try to start the tractor it just clicks and I am not getting 24 volts out of the switch. Any suggestions on what to do next and does any one know why it might have caught on fire to begin with? Thanks

check the wiring may have grounded out somewhere, could have fried the started or could have bad connection on battery's after it shorted can scar terminals, fry ends of wire where battery connects.Go through all of wireing to check for hot spots or dammage. ....
