 Yanmar upper lift arm

I need to replace the upper lift arm on my 3 pt hitch. I have a Yanmar 2200. I have heard that John Deere compacts are made by Yanmar. Will a standard John Deere lift arm fit my Yanmar? Appreciate the info.
Steve

A generic top link should work just fine as long as you get the same size. Besides, the generic costs about $25 and I am sure Deere would charge four times that.

There is some variation in length of CAT I top-links to accommodate slight variations in lower link arms and mounting brackets. I think Mark was looking around for a shorter top-link for his BX, and occasionally you hear of somebody wanting to shorten one for a particular implement. However, for the most part any CAT I link works with any CAT I tractor and implement. Sleeves are available to size CAT II loops to CAT I pins and adapters are available for non-standard 3ph's such as Ford N's.
