 12 GPM Joystick Control Valve

Thanks for all the responce's to my last post (Yanmar 155D). I think the loader control valves are not functioning properly. They are starting to stick. If I am going to replace them I would like to replace them with a joystick valve, however I have not found one small enough. All of the valves I's seen so-fa are large 25 gpm valves. Does anyone know of a company making smaller 12 gpm valves?
I would appreciate any help.

Also on the left side of the seat, looking front to back, there is a valve. It is marked "Faster" "Slower" What does this valve do. It is not the 3 pt regulator valve, which is located under the seat.

Respectfully Submitted,
Andy

Yes, Iíve heard that you donít need rear ballast with a 25-gmp valve mounted on a fender. http://www.crossmfg.com/ and http://www.princehyd.com/ are hydraulic component manufacturer sites. I donít know specifically about valves made for joystick linkages but these manufacturers may have what is needed. Tisco is another hydraulics manufacturer, although there have been some negative rumblings regarding their CS on another board. There probably are some good manufacturers Iíve omitted.

The http://www.northerntool.com/ site is an on-line tool store. Its catalogue does carry some Prince hydraulic components. I believe that Cross components are better regarded but also pricier. Myself, Iíd probably go to my local hydraulics shop if my dealer couldnít help me.

I have compact tractor control valves available. The valve under the seat you are asking about controls the rate of drop. The one under the seat locks the 3 point in position.
For more info on the valves contact me at sheaftractor@coiinc.com

Pertaining to this question, what does the valve under the seat do, or what does it regulate exactly?

It's probably a flow control valve that controls how fast the 3ph will lower. For many people the adjustment is used only to prevent a heavy implement from crashing onto the ground when the 3ph is lowered or a light implement from lowering in slow motion. The valve doesn't affect how fast the 3ph raises.

The adjustment is important for operations like plowing and mowing. You may not be aware that few position control 3ph's are held down. They float up when an implement goes over a hill or when the tractor starts up a hill. The other side of the bump or hill, the 3ph lowers back to its position level. Too fast or too slow a descent is going to affect the quality of mowing or plowing.
