Yanmar 1610D oil and air filter

Can anyone offer a part number for a major brand (e.g. Fram, LuberFiner, WIX, etc.) oil and air filter for a 1610D Yanmar. Would it be the same as the US model YM226? Thanks!! Jeff

Yanmar 1610D oil and air filter

A neighbor used an "equvalent" air filter. Months later when the engine misfunctioned it took a week of troubleshooting to discover it was shorter than the factory one, and didn't press hard enough against the holder, letting unfiltered air into the engine. I once used an "equivalent" oil filter that turned out to be a half-inch longer than Yanmar's and was eventually punctured by a steering part. Moral: measure the equivalent's length against the factory version.
