The only two other web based forums I visit do keep PM folders for both inbound and outbound messages. One uses phpBB forum software and the other (Netgear) seems to have written their own.

Dennis, there is one that does I know. No idea on any others. On that site you have to delete it yourself. That is true of ones you sent or received.

Not sure I am a fan of their set up on saving the private emails. Had I not been asked to resend a PM would have had no reason to ask. Do not take this question to mean there is a need to change the setup.
