Survey of Member Equipment Hours Brand Use etc

In an effort to try to relate engine hours to price of used equipment, I'm curious if we could post the following info from our personal perspective:

1) tractor model year
2) tractor brand
3) amount of cylinders
4) diesel or gas, type of transmission
5) tractor alone, with FEL, or TLB
6) bought new or used
7) how many hours on it when you bought (if used)
8) how many you put on since you bought as used or new
9) private or business use or both
10) do you own a trailer specifically for this tractor
11) total implements and which type
12) favorite implement, most used, whichever
13) most useful modification (factory or aftermarket accessory, custom made for you or by you)
14) does your significant other use this or other tractors you own
15) do you use any fuel additives, which one(s)
16) are ther any synthetic fluids in your tractor
17) do you do regular service or take it to dealer or pro mechanic
18) type of tires
19) price you paid (without tax)

I will take all this information and post data in a few months or so, maybe sooner. If 25 or more people participate there will be a wonderful and useful prize awaiting one of them. If 40 or more people participate there will be two prizes. Determination of prizes will be from random drawing of those names who participated. There will be only "handle" names used of course.

This may sound silly to some but please take just a minute and answer at least 12 of 17 questions. Simple and concise answers are all that is needed. Please be honest.
There's no need not to be.

Thanks for your time.
Although I'm new, I'll post first.
So let 'er rip.

-ao

kwschumm - Just trying compile info that will help tractor owners, future buyers and also be something we'd all be interested in. Probably more interesting than true help for long time tractor owners. Should be interesting info for all to see in one spot. Mostly fun, but also educational (somehow) and just another ball of techinical info.

Let's have some fun with it.

Thnaks to all so far.

Give it a few weeks, we'll see how it goes.

Not being real geeky wouldn't it be simpler to use a html fill in the blanks data page. But as you state not sure what direction you are going with this...

I'm guessing you are not intrested in the old 1944 grunt tractor around here. Or about the older (antique) lawn tractor w/mower used to trim.

1. 2000/2001 4400
2. JD
3. 3 gears
4. D
5. tlb
6. N
7. n/a
8. 780
9. P
10. N
11. 13 that I can think of: scraper, york, box blade, boom, field mower, snow blower, finish mower, brush cutter, phd, field plow, harrows/drags, bh, loader
12. Depends on season you figue out. But probably the loader.
13. lights on rops. see my #4
14. when she has to.
15. NO/YES only during the winter when my heating oil is cut with kero or #1 diesel. power service.
16. NO! Never!
17. I do services and all repairs after warranty.
added
18. turfs with homemade chains :-0
19. 22k for tractor and loader

Have fun compiling...

Harvey

harvey - that would have been a good way to do it.

I'm merely going to take this info and compile into some pie diagrams or bar charts with percentages and such.

It's not 60 minutes or an infomercial.

Just simple basic info to help new buyers and be of interest to those who have the total savvy.

Did I mention that the prize included the Victoria's Secret models?

tks -ao
