Need advice on tractor cab A/C

I need advice for finding a small, 12 volt, A/C (or heat pump)unit I can mount in the tractor cab (actually it's in a skid steer with an enclosed cab). I have factory heat but am working on the Gulf Coast cleaning up the Hurricane Katrina mess and need A/C soon or this Yankee boy is gonna roast (is that bacon I smell?)

Just a thought, Gehl was the first company to offer a air conditioned cab from the factory a few years ago. We have quite a few out now and they seem to be working quite well. I don't know but to have a factory unit is normally a better suited match for all components but if you are inclined to spend the time to build your own it might be a good one to look at for your parts.

You know that a/c on The 185.b is available from the factory or as a dealer installed option. There are also after market kits available.

Here is a link to a local guy to me. You could call him and buy the kit and installation your self. Very easy and strait forward installation. The kit is made by red dot.
