Home Heating Oil and Propane Prices

I would like to use this thread to post Home heating oil and propane prices here. It is a pain calling around for the cash price as I am buying on a "will call " basis this year from whoever is cheaper.

I bought Home Heating Oil here in NJ from AB Country Oil for 2.15 gallon on November 28.

Dennis

Home Heating Oil and Propane Prices

In Nov fuel oil tank topped off $2.64 from E&V Cortland, NY
Just finished the complete switch over to E&V with Propane $2.14 Mid Dec.

Surburban bought Agway out (we have dealt with Agway for over 15 years) and the prices went up. We were filled with propane late Nov at $2.99. They wanted $2.75 for fuel before Katrina. ENOUGH WAS ENOUGH.

Harvey,

I did business with Agway for 22 years. Like you said with Suburban taking them over, gone are the days of customer service, and up are the prices.

Don't think I will do service with them anymore.

Central Maine cash price in the paper is $2.32 a gal. for oil.
Paid 1.99 two weeks ago.
firewood is 180.00-200.00 a cord. That coal stove is looking good.

Southern Ontario, US$2.35 / (US) gallon.

Don't even want to think about what propane is going for...

Firewood is about US$200 a cord for good dry hardwood.

Best of luck.

GEEEZZZZE never considered Wood! Around here hardwood split and delivered is about $130-$150 for a std cord. However it is usually advertized as a face cord for $40-$50.

I can cut my own for about $15 (and some sweat) a face cord and I use about 15 FC per season give or take a little.
