I'm not sure what is meant by 'lifting-rod.' what comes to mind is what I'd call a gin pole. Places like Northern Tool probably have them but most dealers don't. They aren't a mass market item because most people who want one just make it themselves.

I think TISCO and other hydraulics companies have hydraulic top link kits. If there's already a rear hydraulic outlet, a top-link isn't very specific to a tractor. There is an issue of the cylinder length and some 3ph's have longer link arms than others. Generally it's just a matter of getting the right size loops on the cylinders for the class of 3ph. Most any dealer should be able to come up with one.

I get the impression from the reference to "rh" that the item they are talking about is the link that goes between the rock shaft and the lower 3pth arm, the one that 'lifts' the arm when the 3pth is raised.

If this is the case a genuine Kioti part is not required, but may be desired. The size of the pins and the connection method together with the length are all the determining factors required.

As for a hydraulic top link, they should be available from/through any good farm equipment dealer, especially one who does a lot of CUT's for landscapers, etc.

Best of luck.

Maybe what nobaddays is referring to is a Top-N-Tilt kit. This kit would replace the fixed top link with a hydraulic cylinder and the right adjustable link with another hydraulic cylinder.

I don't know anything about kiotis, but if this what you're looking for maybe your kioti dealer or a kioti parts supplier has a Top-N-Tilt kit available. You will need two available SCV's to run the new rear hydraulic cylinders.

Think you're right Murf. A day later I figure that 'rh' = right hand and by golly my repair manual does call the thing a lift rod. Duh on my part.

The right hand one probably has the side leveler so it would be more specific to the tractor and a dealer would have to supply one. The Kioti web page does have a dealer locator and I think a few have been mentioned here. Back in May there was a post that said that several models are now marketed by Cub (I don't think 55's were included) but maybe there be some help from a Cub dealer.

Even from a dealer, it is the sort of part that tend to be backordered so maybe adapting a salvage yard part from another tractor isn't a bad idea.
