Stanley; First welcome to the form, we will do our best to help you out and I'm sure someday you can return the favor. I can't give you a brand name, but I once worked around one which had thw sideshift frame on the tractor three point like yours. The big rectangular shape frame that the hoe it's self fastens to served to let you move the hoe to either end of the frame to dig almost tight along and parallel to an existing wall. This had to be 30 years ago and I don't remember ever seeing one like it again. As I remember you loosend some big bolts and somehow manualy slid the hoe where ever you wanted it on that frame. I have wondered since if they had just made it to move hydraulicly what a feature that could still have been. Frank.

Stanley,

Welcome to the forum.

I can't help you identify the make or model of your backhoe, but I can help you with any future repairs or replacement parts you might need.

Contact Canadian Tool And Die, (CTD) in Winnipeg, Manitoba. I've toured the place, and I can tell you from experience....(I once worked for those people)....there is nothing they can't make or repair, when it comes to hydraulic hoses, cylinders, or valves.

Canadian Tool and Die is a MASSIVE machine shop, capable of making or repairing any electro-mechanical device you will likely ever encounter. If they can't help you, nobody can. Not only do they have a massive machine shop, they also make their own metal castings, as they are the parent company of Integra Castings (a cast iron foundry), located in Winkler, Manitoba.

See the links I've included below

Nice to have you aboard.

Joel

Looks to me at least the hoe itself--maybe not the tubular carriage--is made by Case, maybe made around 1987. Case used a rectangular stiffener bar on the lowe arm of the hoe which was made of bent and welded sheet/plate steel. I had a similar hoe on a Case trencher. It might be a model 125CX or 100X.

Or in English:

Stanley, do not worry, you are not the only Canadian here, and if you have a problem in English I will always help.

My french is not perfect, school was many years ago, but I will try my best.

You must excuse my errors too.

As an aside, while I'm sure Canadian Tool & Die are good people, they're not exactly close by, in fact Miami Florida is about 50 miles CLOSER to Stanley than Winnipeg is.

I agree, it looks like a hoe from something else was welded to a homemade sub-frame and put on the 3pth.

(Je conviens, il ressemble à une houe d'autre chose a été soudé à un sub-frame fait maison et a mis dessus le 3pth.)

Best of luck.

Murf,

You're right. CTD isn't located right next door! hehehe.

CTD has a full sales staff and they travel all over North America. They can identify or measure any hydraulic cylinder to determine which packings and seals are necessary to repair the item, or even make a new cylinder from scratch to replace any cylinder up to 8 inches in diameter, and 10 feet closed length.

And if you wish to send your cylinder or hydraulic pump to them, they will repair the item and then send it back.

CTD is as close as your nearest shipper.

Stanley has an advantage over me, in that he doesn't have to mess around with international customs in order to get his material repaired and returned to him.

But, I'm sure Stanley has a supplier much closer to him who may be able to help him just as well.

Joel
