I need Snow removal equipment but have no idea what I need

I have a 1400 space parking lot in St. Louis, I need to purchase snow removal equipment to clear the lot in the winter. Can anyone reccomend any type of equipment or just how i would go about this. I was thinking of getting a Bobcat and a salt spreader. Please help

I find the easiest, fastest thing is a compact tractor (with cab obviously) with a snow blade instead of the bucket on the front loader. It clears just as fast as a truck, but will also do the sidewalks, stack snow, and spread salt/sand better than a truck. With the bucket re-installed (5 min. job) it will load trucks for off-site disposal. Come spring it will sweep the sand/salt residue away (just don't use a rotary broom, dust everywhere!!!) in record time.

Use a fixed-type broom, sort of like a huge push or barn broom, but with a 3pth braket on it. The ones we use are made by a company called Gro-tech, I think they are shown on Eastern Farm Equipments site, www.eastermfarmachinery.com???The big advantage to that style is the sand ends up in a pile, instead of dust the customers cars! Let me know if you have problems finding one. Best of luck.
