Need tractor for snowblowing only - NH TC18 or Steiner or? Help

Am moving into the middle of nowhere in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Need to blow a 3/10's of a mile driveway. Have no room to plow it and get plenty of snow. Am wondering if a TC 18 with 48" blower will do the job. The drive has some hills but not too bad. Am also considering a Steiner. Would appreciate any input from the pros out there. Again, primary need is snow removal. Other uses a plus but not necessary this winter.

Even though I have a TC29, I blow my 900 foot long driveway with a Toro lawn tractor and 44" blower. The Toro does a great job and, I suspect, is much less expensive than a TC18 with blower.

As a wise old professor in university (engineering) taught me, nothing is impossible, some things just cost more, or take longer to do. I have a neighbour who keeps a similar size driveway clean with a 24" walk-behind blower, but he's retired and enjoys the fresh air and doesn't have anywhere to be in a rush...... Best of luck.

hello, the steiner snowblower is one of the best attachments tjat steiner has. It will blow snow up to about 50' away. It is also a heavy attachment that gives the tractor extra traction. The snow blower lists for $2650.00 and the small tractor lists for about $8800.00 with a 20hp onan gas engine.

Can you run a snowblower effectively on a Steiner 220. My driveway is very long but fairly flat....on 150' hill.
