Does anyone have any experience or opinions on the New Holland 3 point hitch snowblowers? I'm trying to decide what brand to get, and there is a used one in the want ads. I'm curious as to how they compare with the Meteor, Pronovost, Blizzard, etc. I do like the idea of owning equipment backed by a big name like NH, for parts availablility way down the line.

The NH's I've looked at over the years have all been very solidly built. Also a little overpriced.

Look at the metal thicknesses the minimun in side walls should be 3/16.

Thanks, that sounds like a good quality machine. I usually feel better to spend a bit more on equipment to get better quality, even if it leans toward overkill. They say its a 2002 72" in excellent condition. Not sure if it's a hydraulic chute or not. The asking price is $3500, which is a bit steep considering a new front mount JD 59" blower could be had for another grand or so. I haven't priced a new one yet at the dealer for comparison. I'm looking forward to go see it. ....

That is a little high. However it might be almost new. I can't believe it's a 2002 located near you and not have been well used.

There are alot of very good quality blowers out there for less.

Look to your west and north for some better pricing on quality blowers it would be worth a 2 hour drive to save 500 or get a brand new one for the same money. ....

Harvey,
I see you have a Pronovost P-680. That machine caught my eye as well. Seems like a good fit for my JD 3320. What sort of price would I be looking at on that one, with hydraulic chute? ....
