 Inland Snowblower ???

I'm looking at purchasing a used 60" snowblower made be Inland Steel & Forging. Can anyone tell me anything about them? I'm under the impression they are out of business. If so any leads on where I might be able to get an owners manual or spare parts if needed?.. Or should I just stay away from it? The original owner thought it was 12 years old and looked to be in very good condition considering the age.

Thanks

 Inland Snowblower ???

They were a well built blower although there are newer blowers and different makes that will out blow them. They are good for 20 to 30 foot distance and will not bend easy as there is a lot of metel used to build them.

Thanks for the feedback Art.

Any opinion if $600 a good price? The owner claims less than 20 hours usage as someone else maintained their driveway. It's been stored indoors and in good visual shape.

Anyone with an ownersmanual or parts list they wouldn't mind sharing/selling?

Thanks

I think that is a good price if it is straight and not bent up. That is less then 1/2 price of a new one. Check the gear box oil and see how it looks. Look at the bearings and the chains as well as the impellers to see if they are bent up.

TDendinger, first of all, welcome!!

Next a little pointer, this board has a pretty long history as far as websites go, the thread you responded to for example is nearly 5 years old. If you look in the upper left corner of each post it shows the time and date it was posted.

Best of luck.

I am looking for the rollers that hold the spout on some of the 8 and 9 foot inland blowers. Have you ever had them made or found a source for them??

Murf- It's 2015, I've found an Inland snow blower and a Google search brought me here. The OP may have moved on but who knows how many people since then have come to this thread looking for input. I wouldn't discourage anyone from adding to a thread, as long as this site exists it will show up in a search, it would be nice to allow the knowledge to continue to accumulate.

Gary,

Welcome to our little corner of the internet. I certainly wasn't trying to discourage anyone at all, but people tend to get discouraged when they don't get a reply to a question not realizing they're in a thread that's years old.

Best of luck.
