Hey, I am in your area code and as it is late I will call you tomorrow. I have an 1840 I just got and of course would like to find a repair manual. The tractor seems to run fine but there are wires and hyd. lines every where that are no longer in use. I like to know where they go.

Will be glad to pay of your hard won information espically a manual copy.

Tom, this posting is a little old so you may not see the reply, but I have translations for all of the decals on my 1840. They include a matintenance schedule, lever operating instructions, the seven lube sumps/capacities/type of lube, etc. If you want it let me know and I'll email a copy in MS word. The word document is pretty big since it has both a picture of each decal as well as the translation.

I too recently purchased a grey market Shibaura SD1840 and would very much appreciate if you could please send me a soft copy of any documentation you have been able to find concerning our model tractor. I have been able to find a hard copy parts manual and that is it. I have a friend in Japan that I have contacted to see if he can locate an Operator's manual. If I receive one I will share anything I find with the rest of you. Thanks much.

There aren't English manuals for your tractor, but I can supply you with manuals for the closest US model. Email me at sheaftractor at coiinc.com

Eric, I recently bought a Shibaura 1840 and was wondering if you still have the word doc,"mantintenance schedule, lever operating instructions, the seven lube sumps/capacities/type of lube, etc."
I realize I'm responding to a pretty old email but would appreciate any info you might have.
Thanks Much.
Denita
