 oil from exhaust 1715 tractor

The engine on my tractor is blowing oil out of exhaust. The oil is worse when air filter is installed.

A quick check of the parts breakdown shows it has stem seals on the intake valves, so even with badly worn guides it probably wouldn't draw much oil past the valves. At least not enough to notice. A clean air filter shouldn't increase manifold vacuum enough to draw oil past the rings, but who knows? In your case it seems to make a difference?
Perhaps a bit of history and some details may be of help here.
Oil "slobber" can be caused by worn rings, but that's often accompanied by low compression and high crankcase pressure, or blowby. Any signs of that? Another common cause is newly replaced rings that have never seated properly, or an engine that was never truly "broken in" to begin with. Any thoughts on that?
Measured oil consumption in this case would be another question. I think a good starting point might be to remove the exhaust manifold and check the exhaust ports for signs of oil. See if the oil seems pretty even across the board or if it maybe heavier(or totally) from one cylinder. Maybe the tractor has just been "babied" a bit too much and needs a good workout. A few hours under a hard pull may be all that's needed.

Thanks for the reply. The history on the tractor is as follows. The engine was smoking heavily and slobbering and had quit running when I got it. I replaced positions and rings after having bored .010 over. Checked valve train and replaced valves and stem seals, guides seemed to be ok.engines runs well but is producing oil or seems to be oil out #2 cylinder exhaust port. Checked compression on all cylinders, around 350 across all cylinders. As of now, producing heavy smoke and oil out exhaust with heavy load. No skip or hesitation on acceleration. Is worse with air filter. Under no load just driving around no smoke, oil will creep out exhaust slowly. Could this possibly be fuel or most likely oil

Wow! That opens up a long list of possibilities.
Oil or fuel? MOST likely oil. Why is this happening? I doubt that anyone can answer that from out here. You're the only one here that knows how/what work was done, how the parts were inspected and fitted, checked for clearance where needed, and all that. Also the initial startup/breakin procedure, when this condition first appeared, what the engine has done since, and all that.
At this point, I hesitate to offer any suggestions since I don't know all the facts. Over the years in this business I've overhauled/rebuilt more engines than I care to count. Most where successful, but sometimes things don't go as planned for any number of reasons. Hopefully that's not the case here, and you can solve your issue with a good "run in" process and move on.

How many hours since overhaul? What was the breakin procedure? I wonder if the rings haven't seated yet? 350 seems low for a just rebuilt motor. Did you check the injector? They could be leaking or bad spray pattern.

This is my first build so it is a learning process. The build has less than one hour run time. I have the service manual and have tried to follow the guidelines they suggest. The compression is in line with manual and engine does run well with exception of oil and smoke.the manual does not give info on breakin or seating of rings so suggestions would be helpful. I will try to determine if injector is leaking. I was linking smoke and oil together but that might have been a mistake. I have gotten conflicting info on history before I got the tractor so have disregarded it. I will work through it with help where ever I can get it. Thanks

The rings won't seat in 1 hour.Vary your speed & don't work it hard. Pull the injectors & have them pop tested.
