King Cutter Two - Slip Clutch

I am looking at a 4 foot king cutter II Rotary Tiller or Rototiller as some prefer to call it. The part of the PTO shaft that hooks up to the tractor is missing. I looked up some information about a new model and it says:

This Category 1 tiller includes a PTO shaft with heavy-duty slip clutch.

Does this mean that the slip clutch is somehow incorporated into the PTO shaft? I have never seen this before if so.

Yes. And it's generally unwise to operate a tiller without one. But before you buy a tiller without one, consider that such a shaft will set you back around two hundred bucks. See link below

DN, depending on where you live in NC you may know Agri Supply very well. Their prices and support normally are the best. You may wish to price the tillers they sell. I am not saying the product line they sell is built as well as the King Cutter or not. I have no idea but they have stood behind anything I have every bought 100%. kt

Thanks to the both of you for the info. Actually, I have seen this arrangement for the slip clutch but didn't recognize it from the picture of the tiller or the description. Anyway, it clarifies this issue. What is actually missing is the part of the PTO shaft that hooks on to the tractor. This would mean that the slip clutch is there. Thanks for telling me about agri supply. Might call them if this deal with the tiller doesn't work out.
