Wife out of town, I bought a TC24D

The wife and kid are at the in-laws for a few weeks so I picked up a new Boomer. It arrived Saturday. I emailed her some pictures of the new toy, even sent her one with my tractor in the garage while her little Cub Cadet sits outside! She has another couple weeks to calm down, in the mean time I need to find a new back blade for the new TC24D.

Any suggestions on a back blade that has an offset, tilts & swivels? I was looking a the blades from Corriher and they look good. Is 72" too big of a blade for the 24hp tractor? Most of the work will be ditch work.

And I guess I'll be selling my Oliver Super 55 Diesel. Hate to part with it but the Boomer is more manuverable. Then again, if the wife finds out how easy it is to drive, maybe she'll want the TC24D. So far she's never even sat on the Oliver.

Boy you'd think so wouldn't you!?! Kind of reminds me of the old question: IF A MAN IS ALONE IN THE WOODS AND HE SAYS SOMETHING, BUT THERE IS NO WOMAN THERE TO HEAR HIM, IS HE STILL WRONG?

But I'm getting all the "honey-do" projects done so she can't say too much. Besides, I told her how much easier it was to clear out the ditch that is overgrown and a total eyesore. She wants to put in a flower garden next to the ditch and fill the ditch with cobblestones.

The whole area is about 25' by 60' and I don't see that I can do that by hand. . . hey I think I just justified a 3pt tiller too!

I think a six foot blade would work very well with your tractor.

Click on link below. These are the best looking blades I have seen.

Thanks Mark, I just ordered one of their blades, and from what I've seen, these are the best designed blades on the market. I looked up their "links" page and ordered from Corriher. I particularily like the offset feature using pins for quick adjustment.
