So, the new tractor came yesterday but, not having had a 3PH before, I'm curious about whether there's supposed to be a bolt on this upper 3PH mount. Please take a look at the pics on this page and give me some feedback. Thanks.

 3 Pt Hitch Quesiton

Ken, if you look at the larger version of the pics the pins are definitely threaded.

It sure as heck needs a bolt, and a washer. I would put a nylock nut on this application.

 3 Pt Hitch Quesiton

You may also be missing a bushing. There shouldn't be that much free play in the joint. Check other fittings that look similar, could be there is a bushing missing.

The zipped out here and fixed it by 8 am this morning. It was just missing a nut and washer.
