 Loader for a TC25D

Does anyone have experience with using a loader on a TC25D? I have a new TC25D and decided I would like a loader, does New Holland make a decent loader or is there an after-market brand that is better? I do not have supersteer if that makes a difference.

Chris, I have a Kubota instead of New Holland, but my cousin recently bought a new TC29. I've tried it out a bit and it seems to have a pretty decent loader on it. I can't say for sure, but I believe the same loader fits the TC25. I'm sure there are good after market loaders available, but I prefer staying with a loader of the same brand as the tractor, just in case anything goes wrong, I only have one dealer to deal with.

Chris... I just got a TC29D with a NH 7308 loader. Since the tractors are the same physical size, I would expect yours would take the same loader. Compared to a big-tractor loader, it's a little light weight (in every sense), but for my needs it's fine. I very much appreciate the ease of installing and removing... both only take a couple of minutes, no tools. I didn't look at using another brand loader, but I would guess you might give up the easy on/off feature. Others may have more experience than I!

I had a 7308 loader on my 1530 boomer. The loader seemed very wimpy compared to the one on my JD4300. I winced whenever I had to load something over the 700# mark. It also was very loose-sounding whenever it was driven over rough surfaces unloaded...gave the sounds of a loader that had 10 years of wear on the joints. Other than that, it was very easy to go on and off with, and the joystick control was ok (although very space consuming near your right knee, and also, completely disabled the 20 degree swivel function of that very nice seat due to knee interference).
If you do get one, make sure you get a heavy duty bucket!! For the extra couple of bucks you may spend on the heavy versus the standard bucket, it REALLY gives more peace of mind. I wish I had upgraded mine to the heavy duty version. Much better construction than the standard!!. Hope this helps.

I just bought a NH 1530 (same as TC-25D) just off a school lease. The dealer sold me a Woods model 1012 loader with it. I traded in a JD 850 with front loader. I think I just died and went to heaven. The NH is a joy to work and the loader is far superior to the older JD. I have hauled loads of gravel and fire wood so far and am VERY pleased with the combination. All R-4 tires are loaded. Hope this helps. Also pleased with the dealer, New Holland Cortland (Cortland, New York)

Chris....I own a 1320 NH with a 7308 loader and heavy duty bucket, 68". The bucket is a little large for the tractor, need a little more rear weight, but it works great. I have moved 2 1/2 washed rock and plenty of dirt and snow with it. The one thing I would suggest is looking at something with quick-tatch bucket and attachments. Would really make the loader more versatile. Just my opinion. Good luck!

Cliff
