I've never heard a solid reason for the name boomer. The best guess is that baby boomers are buying 'em Smile

One thing to watch for is corrosion around the battery area. The battery is mounted in front of the radiator and if there is outgassing the fan draws the gases through the radiator. Keep that area flushed clean. My JD 4310 has the same issue, but the dealer gave me a vent cap that vents through a 2 foot tube extending out the bottom of the tractor. A simple fix.

Yes, it's a sealed one piece cap that vents through a tube. My JD dealer supplied it, not sure if NH has something similar. The best solution IMHO is a sealed AGM (optima type) battery, but I have found none that will fit on my machine. Not sure about the NH battery sizes.

Your price with the loader sounds great!! Was that a cash price? The best cash price I have found the the Kansas City area is 18,500. If I use their 0% 48 month program, they want to add 300 bucks to the price. Hope it's a great tractor, I should have mine by the end of this week.

Yes, that was cash, no credit card allowed. Included fluid in rear tires and a front grill protector. Tires were ind. type. I had to go back twice.
Keep in touch, jeff

Sure. My pic 18 shows the cap. The tube on the left is routed out behind the front axle.

Hi, no super steer. I really dont know much about it and was kinda scared of it.

Countdown has started untill I get it sometime next week!

Does it have to go to shop for first big service (50 hours)or can I do in the garage?
