I priced a new 2005 TC45DA with a 16LA loader, 72"HC bucket/with cutting edge, remote valves, Front Bumber/grille Guard and fluid filled tires + a 72CSH snowblower with quick disconnect frame here in NY for 31,500. Is this a good deal? Thank you for replying

Briant,
I just checked with my salesman...equipped just as you said,
30,500.00 in Pa so I would say your #'s dont sound so bad for NY. ....

WingedV, Thank you for checking! I went to the NH dealer today, seems they made an error on the shipping of the Snowthrower and the final price is now $30,500. Same quote as you. Needless to say, once I found that out I signed the credit app and hope to have my new tractor before the first snow. ....

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I have a question about a New Holland TC45D W/16LA. I was at my local JD dealer trying to make a deal on a used 4410,420,200+hrs,hydro....I believe it was an 02 model, anyway this thing looks like it sat outside its whole life, it was'nt tore up or anything, just looked like a 1000hr. machine. The salesman thought he was making me a hell of a deal by lowering it from 22.5k to 20.5k, well, I did'nt bite. He then offered me a 03 model I believe TC45D w/16la,200hr. tractor for 20k. Now, this tractor looked new, very well traking care of. I'm not a NH owner, but am considering becoming one....Is this a good deal?? What should I look for in this model? Any issues??

Thanks a million for any responses! ....

I would say that is a heck of a deal. Being an '03 and having 200 hrs all the issues and bugs should be out of it. If any thigh would happen just ask me I worked on them for a couple years. ....

I should also say that after the first buyer takes the BIG hit on the trade they will hold there value just as well as the rest of them. ....

Certainly the NH is a better deal if you want that large a tractor. I would think the tractors are at least equivalent in terms of reported problems here. The early JD XX10 series had problems with the electronic controllers. ....

Well I will take delivery of my new TC45DA on Monday, if the deal you are looking at does not have a Mid PTO, and the tires are not filled you should expect to pay about 24-25K for a new one so a 5K savings for a machine with only 200 hours seems like a great deal, though until the end of the month you get 0% financing for three years for a new one, take that into consideration when laying out 20K cash 23-25 Financed at 0% becomes 20-21 cash money over three years. Either way seems like you will have a good deal. ....

Thanks guys for all the input. The tc45d does look like a few steps up in size, which is nice........What does the "DA" represent compared to the "D" ?

Don't know if it has a mid pto or not. I did find out it is a 2004 with 110 hours. Thanks again. ....

The DA is the next model. Basically the same tractor but with a different hood, and an extra power out let under the seat. ....
