I am looking at buying a Ford-New Holland 4630 tractor w/loader. It was built in 1991 and has 1559 hours on it. The asking price is around $9,000. It seems to be in really good shape. I have not heard great things about the durability of New Hollands though and was wondering if anyone here has any experience with this tractor. What sorts of things should I be looking for? I am planning on using the tractor for bush-hogging on 9.5 slightly rolling acres, leveling a driveway and other light duty types of work. Thanks!

Well is it 2wd or 4wd. What trans? Power or mechanical shuttle. Those tractors in general were not too bad. With those hours on it all the bugs will be out of it. ....

It's 2WD. The transmission is the kind where you have to stop to shift - shuttle shift I think? Do you think that's a fair price on it? Thanks! ....
