I came across a Case DX33 which I understand to be a TC33 only red. The dealer has 2, 2003 models and 1 new 2005. He is asking $12,500 for an '03 with 500 hrs. and 0 attachments. He is asking $15,000 for the '05 with another $2,000 for a rear finish mower. My question is, what would be a fair price for the 2nd '03 that has 200 hrs. and a 60" belly mower? All 3 are hydro, 4x4, industrial tires.

Right around $15,000 for 200 hr tractor and mower as long as it is in good shape and serviced.

I've come across a similar deal, a 2003 bare with 60 hours and R-4's. Dealer is asking $12,500. I understand it was a repo and only used with a RMM. I need a loader and the new style curved beam doesn't fit since there are some slight body changes. However, dealer can get me a new Woods loader. The warranty will be off in several months.

I'm assuming another $2,800.00/$3,000.00 for the loader. Am I better off with a new unit? This one is also Red DX33. Does anybody know if major changes were done between 2003 and 2005. The hood is more curved and the headlights are different that is noticeable. Don't know what else

Yooper, IIRC the older TC33s don't have very high loader capacity compared to the competition. I think the 7308 loader that goes on these has an 8-900 lb. limit where the comparable green and orange machines are rated around 500 lbs more. This was due to a weaker front axle. I believe the newer machines that used the curved 14LA loaders were redesigned with a beefier front axle but I don't know what they are rated at.

Back in June of 2003 I bought a new TC33D - hydro, industrial tires, rear remote and a 7308 front loader with a heavy duty bucket for $17,235. I know that the New Holland loader isn't spec'd as high as others are but it will lift all that you can put in the bucket and it sure beats using a shovel. Hope this info helps.

The unit I'm looking at has just had a Woods 1009 loader mounted to it. I don't like the looks of it. The loader frame sticks out in front and the dogleg kick down on the arms is way out in front of the front tires.
