These are typically very nice units. Good horsepower, gentleman farmer ride, Parts can be an issue if you don't ask the right out fit for them. Sort of like taking a 2003 Ford truck to a Buick dealer.
Parts are a little expensive, but they are for everything anymore. But they aren't as expensive as the Cub Cadet.

make sure the tractor that your buying is turbo charged, because alot of them that are being sold is not.

I am considering buying a 4201 4WD. It has been "fully reconditioned" has 90 day warrenty.

My concern is the garage that rebuilt the engine and finding parts.

any advise? Where would you find parts?

Be sure to ask them what "fully reconditioned" means. Sometimes it means nothing more than a good wash and touch-up paint.

It sounds like a Viet Nam "reconditioned " tractor. I can supply parts for it. I keep getting more & more calls on these tractors & they aren't cheap part requests. Half of them have 90 day warranties, but the seller won't honor them. Go to the link I've attached for more info.
