I hope there will be a specific reply. If not, the procedure is fairly easy for tractors that have hydraulic manifold blocks. If it's there, it usually can be found by following the high-pressure line coming from the pump. It's usually a steel line.

If you come to a box with two plugs and a slot crew head on it, that's probably a manifold block. The plugs uncover ports for auxiliary input and outlet lines from a spooling control valve assembly. The slot screw, or other device, selects a diverter valve between the remote (3ph only) system and auxiliary system. Some valve assemblies have two return lines. The PB line goes to the return port on the block and the TANK line goes to a plug on the cases. Most tractors have an appropriate plug on the cases.

The manifold puts return oil from an auxiliary system back into the high-pressure line in route to the 3ph so there is no need to change the valve position to select between 3ph and loader use, for example.

If you don't find a block, the procedure would be more complicated but usually doable. Some garden tractors and older utilities are especially difficult.

It is really quite simple. On the seft side of the hydraulic unit that houses your 3 point, under the seat there is a triangle shaped cover that 3 bolts in it. Remove that cover and you should see 3 ports with o-rings on them. The top front one is pressure all the time and the bottom one is return. i think the rear one is to use the 3 point lever for one way hydraulics. The problem is finding the adapter to go voer the holes and allow you to use them. I used a block of aluminum and made my own.
