gc 2310 turf vs ag, 10" vs 12" bh bucket

Anyone have an opinion on gc 2310 with turf tires vs ag tires since it will be used with mmm (Massey does not offer bar tires)? Also, opinion on 10" or 12 bh bucket? One last thing...with bh off and limited spread of draw bars due to subframe...anyone know if Kubota 23 also has this limitation

Just got my Kubota BX 23 4 weels ago.
Can't think of any other tractor I'd rather have.
Would like to know the answer to your draw bar question too.

The CG2310 looks to me like it has the same -limited- arm spread as the BX series.

Although I have not done actual measurements, Deere's version of this class of machine, the 2210 looks like it is closer to Cat 1 specs.

Get the turf tires, those little aggies will be unkind to your lawn.

As far as bucket size, I have had both sizes. Actually I have had 9, 10, 12 and 13 inch buckets. I found the 12/13 inch to be more useful just because it holds a bit more and the work goes a bit faster.

All sub compacts use the Cat 0-1 hitch system. Just looked at the used JD 2210 and MF next to the BX in the front yard. Doesn't get any better for comparisons. Some soils like clay seem to come out of the larger buckets easier.

I should clarify part of my original question...I heard a rumor that a GC2310 (bx23 also?) that when you drop the BH the remaining bolted on subframe mounts get in the way by not allowing 3 point hitch arms to spread to their full width to accept a quick change to some other 3-point tool...plow, blade, etc. Anyone else heard of this?

If I remember correctly, the lower arms on my BX zeroed out on the rear tires not the backhoe frame.

You would really have to try a quick hitch on this class of tractor to see if it works. Things are a little tight back there.

The 3 pt hitch arms are offset. It opens up wide enough to meet ASAE Cat 1 hitch specs.

With no stabilizers attached the BX is tire to tire. The BX backhoe unit fits tight to the tractor.
