 Cab for BX2230

I am the (very) proud owner of a BX2230, with 54?" mower and snowblower. I'm wondering how well they work in the snow. Do I need wheel weights or calcium-filled tires? And, anyone with any good sources for a cab for it??

Do you have a paved driveway? We have not been adding any weight to them unless requested and I'd say that is less then 10% of them. Curtis has a nice cab and there are several other manufacturers of at least equal quality as well as better. They are awesome blowers!

Paved driveway, but long and up a hill (gentle slope). My JD 140 had trouble with a 4' (single stage) blower. The snow we get here is often slushy.

Just for what you had to have done it at all tells me the BX should have no problem doing the job.

Sims Cabs is another possibilty for you. I have never actually touched one, but have seen the website. Check it out.

Beagle the Sims cab is all that a Curtis is and some times more. This little tractor I think has more options for cabs then many of the big tractors do.

Thanks for the leads and info for cabs for the Kubota BX2230. Does anybody have any "hand-on" experience with either of them? Their web-sites are woefully lacking in description. How well made? How protective, what options, etc.??
