I've bought a Kubota B7001 a perfect tractor but all the signs on the tractor are in japanese. Does somebody has an englisch operation manual? I also have a question about starting.. The key of the tractor can also be turned to the left side. Whatfor??

Can anybody help me?

I can't help with your request, but I was curious and clicked on the picture link and found it didn't work. You may want to edit your post and add the trailing 'g' on jpg.

If it is like my B6100E the turn to the left is for the glow plugs. Hold for 0-30 seconds unless it is real cold. There should be a view port above the switch where you can see a wire coil that will start to glow, then turn to the right to start. I usaually give it about a quarter throttle then pull it back to idle after it starts.

New decal sets usually can be ordered from a dealer as well, although they might not be very useful once the signs are understood. There might be some difference in the controls and operation between Japanese and EC or NA models.

Thanx for your message. But the picture-link can't have anymore characters. I've putted in an URL in the original message where some pics are.

marcelbulthuis -
The B7001, for all intensive purposes, is the same as an "english" bred version B7100, only in Japanese. As far as a manual, the B7100 manual will be exactly what you need less the japanese lingo. As stated earlier, these earlier models, all utilized a left hand turn of the key, spring loaded, to energize the glow plug function of the ignition. Typically, as you look on the dash, there will be a small (about 5/16) hole with a coil spring behind it. This is an indicator for heat getting to your glow plugs. If this coil does not turn orange, or hot, the unit will not start, as your glow plugs have not been heated.
Manual - Check out eBay, usually ther are manuals available there.
